You better have a time machine and the ability to get her fired from her job. Aside from poking her eyes out, that bitch is my bitch.

Thank you, Sammy, for pre-empting my joke.

Don´t worry Christina, the health insurance you aren´t qualifying for is absolute crap and wouldn´t help you unless you were dying. And if you´re dying, why worry about who is paying for your medical bills?

You might want to look into qualifying for women´s health coverage or other special health services. When I lived in Wisconsin and was making about $18,000 a year working for Catholic Charities, I was eligible for free women´s health care.

And life in these United States isn´t fair. Remember, you have no constitutional right to be sick!

you could sign up at a community college for 1 class and get decent health coverage for a whole year, even if you only take one class. For example, about 2 years ago i signed up for 1 class at GCC and then signed up for Bollinger’s health plan. It only cost me $120 for an entire year (well, I guess actually $120 plus $300 or whatever the class’s tuition was). I still had a co-pay for my doctor but it was only like $20 or something. Anyway, it’s at least cheaper than buying private insurance.

it was better health coverage than you would expect too. I can’t recall if it included prescriptions. i won’t lie, it was a bit of a hassle b/c each time you went to a dr. you had to fill out paperwork to send to bollinger saying you went, but whatever, it was worth it.

Wait, you mean jobs in print journalism don’t offer great benefits? Perhaps a more forward thinking career change is in order. Something maybe in the 8 Track tape or sun dial industries.

Ah the benefits of working for a media company owned by a faceless corporate overlord.

Now hold on a darn second. Previous posts in this thread alone involved impregnating her and/or stabbing her eyes out, and my gentle reminder of our oft discussed Scrabbled topic of print journalism’s fading influence is the cruel one?

About The Scrabbled

The Scrabbled is a group of people blogging about and linking to all manner of things. Usually we argue and make fun of each other. Everybody knows everybody through somebody so there are no strangers here. Most of us have even met in real life! If you happen to personally know someone here and would like to start arguing with and/or making fun of someone, shoot John an email and ask to sign up. Otherwise, you're just going to have to read in relative silence. Sorry.
