I dunno, kinda neither? I mean, they’re coated in plastic and sanded down, so it’s not like they’re gross. But it’s also swimming in a confined space with a bunch of strangers with nothing really to do which sounds awkward and boring. Sooo… yeah.
This is one obnoxious step above those events where rich white hipster college students sit around outside in tents on the campus lawn, beers and iPods in hand, to better understand the “homeless situation”.
I look forward to future attractions in their Poverty Theme Park. A water slide shaped like a crack pipe? A giant inflatable moon bounce that looks like their housekeeper? Maybe an It’s A Small World knock-off that floats through a grotesque collection of “urban” stereotypes?
It’s an interesting solution to a problem only people with money would care about. While everyone else is worried about their job and paying the rent/bills these people are pissed they can’t find a pool nearby in the city. boo-hoo.
