- Grizzly Bear – Fine For Now
- Mastodon – Diviinations
- Antony & the Johnsons – Epilepsy is Dancing

It’s not surprising that a couple of these are from the “Summer Playlist” I haven’t listened to many new albums this year:
Phoenix – 1901 (this could easily be "Love like a Sunset Pt. 1)
Grizzly Bear – Two Weeks
Magnolia Electric Co. – It’s Made Me Cry
Other Lives – E Minor
Camera Obscura – Honey in the Sun

Bah!
For me…
Muse – United States of Eurasia
Silversun Pickups – The Royal We
Silversun Pickups – Panic Switch
Dredg – Information
Dredg – Lightswitch.
Yeah, I know, not much variety, but I can’t stop listening to these songs (basically the Dredg and Silversun Pickups albums from this year have tons of awesome songs)
I am terrible with song titles (and too lazy to look them up at the moment)…
- I keep hearing a Grizzly Bear song on YRock and forgetting to download it when I get home. It’s really great and different.
- Phoenix we finally downloaded this weekend. 1961 is awesome!
- Also recently downloaded Oscar Wilde by Company of Thieves. I have a feeling it will go into the overplayed category REALLY soon since it’s on 104.5 (i still listen to mostly radio in the car.) Has anyone else noticed the quality of the recording is on the crappy side?
- Silversun Pickups is awesome.
- Kings of Leon has gone into the overplayed category, unfortunately. Your Sex is no longer On Fire. Too bad.
Travis, I just saw a wild music video for Major Lazer’s Pon De Floor. I have never seen such absolutely ridiculous dance moves; naturally, I loved it.
