That’s one of those things where when I first hear it I think “Cool! That will be awesome!” but then when I actually think about it realize…..meh. I mean Grohl and Homme have recorded together (and it was great). And I’m second to no man in my love for Zeppelin, but was John Paul Jones really that dynamic a bass player that he would bring that much to the party? Probably wouldn’t be bad, I just imagine it would be underwhelming.
and i’m assuming JPJ isn’t singing so it’s probably going to wind up sounding like foo fighters or queens of the stone age.
