I agree completely. And even worse is annoying neighbors who decide to light assorted firecrackers off for an hour straight, at 1AM.
no way. they’re really pretty. I especially like the kind that are glittery gold and look like weeping willows. When they’re set to music, it’s fantastic!
In addition to being boring, they’re also annoying. Macy’s is doing their show on the Hudson River this year, and this apparently means that my entire town is going to be shutting down at 4PM to accomodate the expected hordes. I can’t wait to see all the drunk idiots parading down my street.

Normally I don’t mind fireworks, but in my mascot gig for Remax, every minor leage baseball game I do is “Post game Fireworks!” By the time 4th of July rolls around I’m pretty much done with them.
However, I must admit that I did really like them before and occasionally enjoy them.
You are all old, cranky-pusses. Fireworks are fucking awesome. Are you kidding me? It’s giant fucking firey explosions! In the sky! And they’re incredibly loud! I didn’t get to see any this year. I thought I was gonna see them Sunday, but apparently my town did them Saturday.
Fireworks are always made better by glowing bracelets and necklaces.
This is ridiculous. Fireworks are incredibly cool.
