Ain’t it amazing how a common sense remark like “stop talking about it” will never be taken on board by the masses even though it would probably work within a year.

Man, Freeman makes such a fool of Mike Wallace. I’m almost uncomfortable for him. If anyone finds the whole thing, please post it here. I can’t seem to find it.
Also, HOLY SHIT is the rest of that “i hate the media” web site infuriating. I may have to stop being lazy and edit my link to go right to the youtube video.
That’s the thing about that site linking to that clip. While he makes some good and valid points, the majority of people agreeing with it are likely just as likely to be agreeing with him because they’re of the “Oh the poor white man is discriminated against and as a result only controls a measly 90% of government/business/etc.” and not so much because they actually think things are and should be equal in terms of discussions of history, race, etc. What he says is true but it’s very “Yeah, well in a perfect world we’d all be that way.” and a lot less “Well of course! That’s entirely possible!! we should just all stop seeing race!!!! Why hasn’t anyone thought of this before?!?!?!”
I mean c’mon.
