Last weekend I bought lobster for $6 a pound. Cheaper than organic chicken!

I do not see why people think lobster is so great. Anything tastes good when slathered in butter, and very few other foods require a bib to protect you from the mess you’ll make whilst having to pry apart an exoskeleton to get at the mostly weak and tasteless meat of your giant sea insect.
Ev, lobster is easy to ruin. I never liked it much either. When are you coming down here next? I will make you lobster and you will understand.
Also, when I cook lobster you won’t need butter or a bib.
Seafood is cheap close to the ocean. Fishermen are drunks and probably give handjobs in the off season.

If it makes you feel better, I will elaborate. I don’t see the big deal with the whole production of having the thing plopped on your plate to tear at, and it can be very irritating if the person who gets it has a hard time with it(a la Leslie Nielson in Naked Gun). It always struck me as the kind of thing a tourist would do.
Of course lobster tastes good, in numerous other forms.
