It’s true. I just can’t fathom how one political party can watch the opposing party be roundly defeated, watch themselves be handed a supermajority, read every poll in the country that says that a plurality of citizens hate the other guys with a passion, blame them for everything that went wrong with the country and disagree with almost every one of their policies and STILL go “Yeah, we should try and be more like them. We don’t want people to dislike us.”
I’m pretty well convinced at this point it is all about the money and that one party cares ONLY about what is in corporate america’s best interests at the expense of every day citizens, whereas the other party cares maybe 80% about what is in corporate america’s best interest and mabye 20% about what’s in ever day average citizens best interests.
