I’ve only seen a couple movies in IMAX, like Batman Begins. I hope I saw them in the real IMAX, which should also not be confused with the IMAX Dome like at the Franklin Institute.
this dude is kind of an idiot. i mean. really? you didn’t know that imax made smaller screens that DON’T give people motion sickness? REALLY? a boycott, because you don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about? come on. now i feel like never watching parks & recreation again because he got upset over something stupid.

Until Reggie informed me the other day, I had no idea there were non-Dome versions of IMAX theaters. I feel I have been, perhaps, missing a lot of great movie experiences because I loathed the thought of having to look straight up to see what was going on at the top of the frame.
I don’t like this guy so it was hard to really care what he said…but couldn’t he tell it wasn’t the IMAX screen or whatever when he walked in?

The guy who wrote this is, I agree, a massive bag of dicks. Although I’m sure the real story is that he glowered silently as he walked past the manager and then composed the fake conversation on his walk back to his car. He’s famous for something?
But I did like drawing attention to the weirdly small IMAX screens you find here and there. The one in King of Prussia is bigger than your average screen, yeah, but I always expect IMAX to be something massive with steeply stacked seats.
