John is hungry

Anyone know if they changed the NJ wine shipping law yet?

Cause I just bought wine on the internet. We talked before about legislation being drafted to drop the ban on shipping wine, but I haven’t heard anything about it since.

In semi-related news, everyone hear about the earthquakes in Abruzzo, Italy? BBC World Service was interviewing people about it shit morning. All this chaos and weepiness and I’m all “boooooooring” and getting ready to change it, and then they said it’s in Abruzzo and I thought “OH NO! ALL THAT MONTEPULCIANO!”

I am a monster.

Turns out it doesn’t matter if they repealed the law since the place I’m buying it from is apparently locating in New Jersey. Which is good to know.

Even though you don’t really need the answer anymore, we had wine shipped from CA to Jersey I believe twice for Christmas from an online company. The website says they are not allowed to ship to Jersey, but they did both times without problem. In fact, one company that I think I’ve ordered from (can’t remember if I got wine or not) has a chart of states they’re allowed to deliver wine to. Check it out here: Shipping map.
