I wonder if I can figure out a way to crash this. Or get a good view without paying. I visit Liberty State Park quite a bit. Did anyone go last year? Where were the stages located?
There’d be no way to crash this, if it’s set up like last year. Pretty tight security. However, if I recall correctly from inside you could see people walking/biking on the bike path on the perimeter. But there was no way for those on the outside to see in, although I would imagine the sound was extremely audible.
It was actually a lot of fun last year, and I think almost every day this year has more bands worth seeing than last years did. Last year going in all I knew/liked was Radiohead and Underworld. This year there are more than a few bands each day that I like a lot.
It’s not at the end of the summer like 2008, I could make a day or two for sure.

The headliners suck this year but the supporting cast looks a lot better so far. Where the fuck did they dig up Echo and the Bunnymen!?
Echo have been playing some shows with the original lineup (minus the dead guy) for a while now. The past year they’ve been jumping on the “doing a full album live” gravy train and doing Ocean Rain straight through, which I’d really like to see.
