Smoked Beer and BBQ
One of the more interesting events during Philly Beer Week. Anyone ever taste a smoked beer?

at the craft beer fest, we had a beer brewed with rosemary! and black pepper and chamomile. i kinda liked it.

Yeah, “rauch” means “smoke” in German. These beers sound great in concept, but I have tried several and hated all of them. They’re a little BBQ and a lotta stale cigarette. These beers are usually served from a cask too, which usually means they are warmer they most people expect beer to be, so be prepared for that as well.
