Bill sets a beeline for the wine
New Jersey wine connoisseurs could soon have cases of their favorite product shipped directly from Napa Valley vineyards to their front doors, under proposed legislation that would lift the state’s direct-shipping ban on wine.

YES!! Finally! http://wine.woot.com, here I come.
have you been to Heritage Station? www.heritagestationwine.com (not sure if that the right link, blocked at work)
anyways they make some damn good wine, damn good
ps let me know about the link
Yep, that worked! It has the Gov holding up a glass of Chambourcin, which seems to be the only palatable grape that can grow in NJ, and it doesn’t taste very much like what the rest of the world knows as “wine.” Most NJ wines, because of the climate and humidity, end up tasting like juice. I haven’t had heritage station, but unless they’ve got some super-advanced climate control science going on over there, there’s no way they can produce grapes that aren’t too sweet or juice-like. Chambourcin is the exception because it’s supposed to taste a bit juicier.
Right right, but let’s forget the whole “taste is relative” thing here for the sake of discussion: have you ever had well-made wine recommended by someone who knows wine and had it paired with the proper foods, no less?
I mean, I feel like you’re someone who respects the collective intelligence to a degree and for you to be so passe about something such a huge portion of humanity is so passionate about, it seems out of character.
