Yeah, I picture what happened to Morgan Spurlock after his McDonald’s kick will happen to Mike Nelson. Only I bet Nelson isn’t nearly in the shape that Spurlock was in when he started.

I actually don’t think nothing-but-bacon will be anywhere near as bad as nothing but McDonald’s (provided he gets good quality bacon). He will likely end up losing some weight as his body goes into ketosis and, depending on whether or not his insulin is diet-dependent, his cholesterol may or may not go up quite a bit. Otherwise, I expect he’ll be considerably better off that Spurlock.

McDonald’s is fucking poison. Bacon is just fatty.

I wanted to start a discussion of the precise value of ‘beard’. Not ‘a beard’ but the metaphysical entity of ‘beard.’

I was going to talk about the historical power of ‘beard’ and how it was in ebb at the moment.

Behind the scenes, Beard provoked and minipulated the American Civil War, a brother against brother clash between beard and moustache. The war decimated the power of both sides, resulting in the rise to power of ‘sideburns’. (‘Afro’ suffered a major defeat early in the war, but sewed the seeds for a comeback 100 years later in the 1960’s.)
