The 3D was neat but started to be too much for my eyes after a while – sorta felt like playing Katamari for 2 hours straight. But I’m glad we saw it that way. I didn’t quite know where it was going at the beginning but after the plot got set up and the movie became creepy I really enjoyed it.
My only real complaints were that I felt like it could’ve been more suspenseful because once she realized the tasks she had to complete she seemed to complete them all immediately without a lot of difficulty. Also there was a character called Wybie who was annoying and I don’t think the movie needed him. Apparently he wasn’t part of the book. I agree with Neil Gaiman.
In other news, I found that I accidentally tivo’d that new Simpsons episode so I did end up getting to watch it. Not a great episode. I’m so tired of flashback to young Marge and Homer episodes.
