Im not so sure about this whole thing. At first I thought he just lost it, but its just a bit to out there. I think he may be pulling some sort of Andy Kaufmann thing or he is doing some sort of mockumentary and were all doing exactly what they want us to do.
Then again, he could be all fucked up as well. I blame his parents. Stupid hippie free love, god loving cult people.

After all these years, Letterman is still unfuckwithable in interview situations like that. This is still not even half as weird or uncomfortable as the Crispin Glover interview. But it was goddamned close.
