see, i never thought eggs were bad for you. i eat two of em a day: poached! i just wouldn’t eat six pan-fried-in-butter eggs a day.

Whenever I’m looking to shed a little weight, eggs are a big part of my diet. They are delicious and awesome for quenching my appetite.

Neither did I. I eat more eggs, perhaps, than any other single piece of food in a single week. I don’t poach as much as I should (I go for either fried or emulsion-scrambled, both of which involve quite a bit of butter or bacon fat).

That said, I have no idea what my cholesterol is and I’m a bit terrified to find out.

My problem was never the egg yolks themselves. But whenever I eat eggs in any form featuring a soft yolk (over easy, poached, soft boiled) I need toast or a bagel or potatoes or other stuff to soak up and fully enjoy the yolky goodness. And that’s what does it for me calorie wise.

About The Scrabbled

The Scrabbled is a group of people blogging about and linking to all manner of things. Usually we argue and make fun of each other. Everybody knows everybody through somebody so there are no strangers here. Most of us have even met in real life! If you happen to personally know someone here and would like to start arguing with and/or making fun of someone, shoot John an email and ask to sign up. Otherwise, you're just going to have to read in relative silence. Sorry.
