New York City Bike Tour

Tomorrow I’m taking the entire day to cycle through the city (mainly below 34 St.) and tour some stores I’ve heard about. I wouldn’t necessarily call it a shopping spree exactly, just a nice way to tour the city with landmarks.

I plan on posting about my discoveries/opinions later on.

List of stores after the jump…

…I’m going with a wide variety of shops: bikes, candy, sneakers, music, books, toys, general kitsch

So… the list is long, but I’m willing to make extra stops. Any Scrabblers have any suggestions? I am also willing to stop by eateries if the well-known-order-of-choice is small.

Hahaha, Momofuku appears to be in the area! I’ll do it!

Oh my god that pork bun was so good. The meat must have soaked in the flavors for days and the wrap was wonderfully doughy.

hahahahah, awesome! Yeah, I went when I had that shot at working for seriouseats.com. It made the entire trip up there worthwhile.

Wisdom

The fact that a believer is happier than a skeptic is no more to the point than the fact that a drunken man is happier than a sober one. The happiness of credulity is a cheap and dangerous quality.

About The Scrabbled

The Scrabbled is a group of people blogging about and linking to all manner of things. Usually we argue and make fun of each other. Everybody knows everybody through somebody so there are no strangers here. Most of us have even met in real life! If you happen to personally know someone here and would like to start arguing with and/or making fun of someone, shoot John an email and ask to sign up. Otherwise, you're just going to have to read in relative silence. Sorry.
