The Story of Boxxy
I like memes. I like watching them circulate around the web and grow and die. I like the whole sociology and chaos of it. I think it’s fascinating. Even when the meme being watched happens to be an incredibly irritating pixie of a girl who calls herself Boxxy. So when I read about the amount of chaos Boxxy caused at the source of all known internet memes, 4chan, I was particularly delighted.
I figure the interwebs are officially “blowin’ up” about a particular meme if a major news paper happens to discuss it. LOLcats, chocolate rain, even TronGuy have all had articles written about them by major papers trying to appear hip and fresh. The Guardian covered this one and so we, the Scrabbled, can’t be left in the dust. And while this meme is characterized by the polarizing effect she seems to have on people, I’m going to guess that the Scrabbled ends up unanimously agreeing about her.

She’s dumb, her video is dumb, and the fact that I am bothering to even comment on how dumb I think she is just goes to show how little I have to do today.
I’m quite content with myself to be able to proclaim that I didn’t understand 80% of what was said in that article.
This is exactly why humans will be extinct in 5 years.
