We're back! (sort of)
I had to hack up the scrabbled code quite a bit to upgrade it to get it running on the new server. This affects you in that:
- No caching at the moment so the page will be a bit slower, despite the faster server
- Tagging is a bit broken. It still saves your tags, I just can’t display them for some reason.
I hope to have these issues fixed sometime this weekend. Let me know if you encounter any others. Anyway, sorry about the downtime.

Huh. Actually now that the server has revved up, it seems quite a bit faster than dreamhost, even without the caching. Score!

Activity isn’t updating.
Or some is and some isn’t.
What isn’t? It seems to be updating fine for me. The caching is working weird so that might be the cause of it. The activity area is pulled from a cache file that gets updated every time you post, edit, or delete something. Soooo if you can identify if and when something isn’t updating, it’ll help me track it down.
Whopper sacrifice still says Sammy is the last commenter, but he is not.
He probably posted something then deleted it. I just did the same thing and it still says I’m the last commenter. I probably just forgot to tell it to update the cache on deletions.

I fucking love Linode. The site’s fast enough now that I can re-add the “when” to the activity pane with no real noticeable decrease in speed.
Wow, fuck, I just logged into my linode panel only to find that we’ve used, at most, about 20% of our CPU allotment. Which is fucking awesome. Yay room for new features! I smell twitter and flickr extensions (though I should really fix the tags and mailer first).
