Can anyone recommend a good website for downloading free audio books?
Legal or otherwise? For illegal, I’d try bittorrent sites like the pirate bay and the like.
As for legal, here’s a few sites:
Yeah, I’ve used Librivox, the only issue is that they’re volunteer readers. Remind me to let you listen to a part of the Emerson’s Three Great Virtues. The guy sounds like a slow Ben Stein. All the books on there are “in the public domain”.
Other than that, if your comp gives you an issue, just let me know – I’ve got a pretty good torrent system, and I’m more than happy to download whatever you want and I’ll burn them to CD for you…Actually, I may be able to upload them directly to your thing.

Follow your dreams. Don’t do as I did. Go get your overpriced art degree. Go make that concept album. Go on that date with the pretty girl. The money, flashing cars and good looks can get you far in life. Almost to the top. But it can’t buy you everything. It can’t buy you a dinosaur. Only John Hammond can do that. But look what happened to him. Compys.
