I can never hate on somebody just for wanting to make money randomly on the internet. And it’s not his fault that some drunken douches went all sickhouse on his vehicle.
But totally agree: he parked on freaking Broad on a night the Phillies were going to potentially clinch it. Without full insurance coverage. I live a couple blocks off Broad in center city and (the night of the first half of the game) parked about a half mile back in a residential neighborhood.
And for a freelance videographer (read: “unemployed”), those pictures suck.
There, that’s my cranky for the morning.
Hey John, wasn’t that waitress at the diner saying she knew this guy? And yes, I legitimately feel bad for the guy. I always play devil’s advocate and come up with circumstances (disability, fear of getting mugged, getting home late from the hospital after visiting his dying mother) that forced him to park there.

The guy parked in a fucking parking spot, no? You shouldn’t have to think twice about where you are parking your car for fear of it being flipped. Living in heavily congested northern NJ, I definitely understand the practice of selective parking (I do it everyday), but fear of dings and dents is a completely different animal. I don’t understand how this guy doesn’t have a legitimate beef with the city, to be honest.
