Game 5
So where’s everyone watching it? Should we be prepared to storm the streets of Philly if they win? Are people calling out of work the next day for the parade?

Living right off Broad St. in center city, I’m guessing I’d be trapped in my area by the throngs of excitable, screaming Philly people. And my car will probably get tipped over and set on fire.
Last night there was nothing but screaming and cars honking. Around 1:00, some people decided to rhythmically tap on my apartment’s buzzer for a good ten minutes. I’m really not sure what was outside my building that everybody wanted to honk at.
Basically, my place would make an excellent base of operations for a parade.

There’s some shots from Broad and Walnut last night… and that was not even a clinching game.
I’m ready.
Yeah, that’s why I’m thinking Center City is a good spot for it. Easily accessible for all.
How early do you think you should get down? Well, honestly, I’d be going right after work and getting there around 6 and I don’t expect to get a seat. At least three hours before first pitch I’d say. Then again, I’ve never been to this bar in THIS incarnation (I’ve only been there when it was the Independence Brew Pub), so I don’t know for sure.
Moral of the story is, if you’re a bar and you’re in Philadelphia, you will be stuffed to the gills with people tonight.
