Finding the Time to Bleed

The dudes behind the fantastic game Team Fortress 2 made an ad. This is the story of how that ad was mad (also, you can watch the ad). Sound kind of boring, right? Wrong! Because this story, not unlike the recent work of one John Hodgman, is completely untrue. For example:

> “You think what we do is easy?” screamed Jay, sending a further cascade of sandwich onto the sneeze guard. “Where would you have put the script for Road House into the script for Predator, smart guy? At the beginning? Because then it’s just two movies,” he said, not even believing how stupid someone could be to do that.

Watch. And then read. And laugh.

Just like in Predator, Jay doused the script pages in mud to conceal their heat signature from the suits. Unlike in Predator, this did nothing.

Hahahahaha.

Gosia: i hate being lumped into ‘girl’ stereotypes
Gosia: it gets my goat
Hutch: pft.
Hutch: getting your goat is such a girl thing
Hutch: only girls say that.
Gosia: that’s b/c men are too uncreative to
Gosia: you’re perfectly welcome to
Gosia: also, a ‘girl’ thing to say would be like ‘it really gets my menstruation’ or something
Gosia: ‘it really gets my uterus’

About The Scrabbled

The Scrabbled is a group of people blogging about and linking to all manner of things. Usually we argue and make fun of each other. Everybody knows everybody through somebody so there are no strangers here. Most of us have even met in real life! If you happen to personally know someone here and would like to start arguing with and/or making fun of someone, shoot John an email and ask to sign up. Otherwise, you're just going to have to read in relative silence. Sorry.
