Gos and I saw this on the highway the other day. I was aghast.
I prefer the barbed wire license plate frame. It says to potential thieves: “Even my embossed, state-regulated identification is so dangerous it has to be contained.”

You know. It’s not one of those things where you walk into Autozone for some antifreeze and motor oil, and say to yourself “hey, these dangling balls look cool. I think they’d be BOSS on my F150!” No, it’s a delibrate purchase. They’re not readily available. These people actually sit down at the computer thinking to themselves, “So, today I purchase the light up nutsack for my truck. I’m so excited for them to get here!”
