I scored 1 point for McCain (the gay marriage one?) and 13 for Obama.
I was surprised to find I also agreed with McCain on gay marriage. I also picked McCain on one of the immigration issues (I agreed with both statements, but I liked the idea of not having a second class citizen) and on “cutting taxes where [he] can” because the opposing statement promised tax cuts and I think both plans are absurdly foolish.
That is one of the more useless online excercises regarding the 2 candidates. Particularly with regard to McCain since he’s changed his positions on so many subjects, including gay marriage and taxes where it depends on what audience he was speaking to when he said it. So of course if they pick the quote on certain subjects where he’s trying to play it all mavericky then you’ll agree. But if he’s talking to the evangelicals or the Heritage Foundation or whoever then he says something completely different.
Half the time the two statements were the same thing, just worded differently. And a lot of them were full of spin that made it very apparent who you were choosing.

there was one or two more where i felt like john, i could go either way on the statement, one was the immigration one, and the other one was the commander in chief one.
