I Heart iTunes Genius
Has anyone been using this new feature in iTunes very much? While some of the song selections are certainly questionable and despite the occasional annoyance of it not knowing a song, I’ve heard so much music from my own library that I’ve never listened to that I’m really enjoying. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the collected data of the next few months/years alters the song selection.

I was pretty dubious about this feature, but it’s working out really well. It manages to rustle up a bunch of songs that sound somewhat similar in spirit and usually a few things that I’ve rarely, if ever, bothered to listen to.
It should really be called the “I’m Busy Working, So Just Gimme Some Music That Doesn’t Suck or Annoy Me” Button.
I finally got this damn thing to work. It’s pretty random and seems to just go mostly by genre, which is fine. The only thing I don’t like is that it tends to have too many multiple songs by the artist you select in the first place. And yeah, many of the selections are just plain out of left field. I can definitely see myself using it more for playlist selections than anything else.

I still can’t get over your hair in that picture.
