I’ve never even heard of this shit before. What’s the deal? Is it illegal? Why weren’t Sammy and I doing this in our rooms when we were 15?
It’s perfectly legal and it’s absolutely ridiculous. Paris and I have tried it a few times. The first time I tried it, I was sitting in a kitchen chair with a slatted back. My body liquified and I spilled through the slats in the chair and splashed onto the floor. This, to me, was absolutely fucking hilarious. About two minutes later, I was perfectly straight, if a bit hazy and tired. Unfortunately, it only seems to work once and then you need a few hours/days to recharge before it affects you again.
My favorite, though, was the first time Paris tried it. He starts giggling hysterically, grabs some post-it-notes, and tries to explain something to me graphically. He shows me a sticky note with a crudly draw flower with motion lines like it’s flying and he starts going “EEEHEHEHEHEITTITVOOOOM VOOOOOOM HEHEEHHEHEHEEEEHHHEEEE.” I still don’t know quite exactly what he saw, but apparently it involve flying flowers.
We only used 10x. The people all over youtube are using 20x and higher and that just seems crazy to me.
I was straight edge for the good majority of my lifetime, but psychotropic substances always fascinated me. The whole concept of perception is just awesome, and I find it amazing that how your senses react to the world is not concrete, how your brain can change everything around you at the drop of a dime.
That said, I have also heard from people that have done hallucinogens that it isn’t really a good idea to try them at our age. Apparently we are much more prone to seeing awful things because of the stresses of adult life. Any input on this? Where can this shit be obtained?
I was in the same boat; a straight-edge kid listening to Tool’s third eye and very much wishing I had a way to experience it without getting involved in drugs (hence my heavy interest in zen meditation in high school). Eventually I said, “fuck it” and started experimenting.
I’ve never (successfully) done LSD, but I can say with utmost confidence that mushrooms will give you a very pleasant experience at any age—that is, if you can overcome the initial nausea. Which is funny, cause I can’t smoke weed anymore without completely freaking out and worrying about everything uncontrollably. But shrooms have been good to me so far.
As to where you can get them… They’re definitely hard to come by. You can by spores online and grow ‘em yourself, but fresh ones aren’t as potent as dried. Finding dried ones can be very difficult, but some of the less active posters on this site could possibly hook you up if you ever get a chance to meet them in person (maybe the next color party?).
no, not at all. Salvia you can get online. bouncingbearbotanicles.com is where I got it last time. Shrooms are decidedly not legal and thus not very gettable.
Yea, I remember the last time I did it, The room melted into a blue-green spiral.
I also remember the launching flower. It was strange really. I didn’t see it in my minds eye, I didn’t “become” one either, it was some other strange sense.
Hutch, didn’t you become a letter on a marquee?
You can get Salvia, with proper ID, at New Hope Pennsylvania in a particular candle shop. Just ask confidently, get it over with, and if they ask you if you know what it is, just say yes! Piece of cake!
Yeah, it’s weird, the hallucinations are very dream-like. You don’t necessarily see them or become them. It just becomes true. You’d look at your hand and it’d look like your hand but you’d know it’s a garden gnome and in knowing, you see it. It can definitely be a bit uncomfortable and scary, but in a very cool, exhilarating way.
But yeah, I don’t remember that one time at all, Paris. A became a letter on a marquee?
