Best Wii Games

By Julia McF'nCracken 2 months ago

So, I’ve finally gotten my hands on a Wii after stalking Best Buy’s doors at a completely unreasonable hour on a Sunday morning with a ripping hangover.

This being said, I’ve not had a video game console since Sega Genesis, and I’m TOTALLY out of the loop as far as games go. I’ve got Mario Kart, and I ordered Super Mario Galaxy, but I want to know what else to get.

I’m generally not a fan of shoot em’ up type games (E.G. GTA, No More Heros)ESPECIALLY those with first person vantage points. I actually threw up after watching some friends play Bond on Playstation.

So, Scrabblers, give me your suggestions and let me know what I should check out.

First off, you should email me your address so I can send you your housewarming gift. Secondly, you should get smash brothers because it’s amazing.

No. You should not get that game. Because…. you shouldn’t.

Yes, Smash Bros. is amazing.

Geometry Wars is simple and as addictive as a pack of cigarettes. You kinda just move around the 2-D board shooting things and trying to top your high score. It’s so great. And fun with two players.

Boom Blox is supposed to be a pretty great party game. Lots of Wii controls to fuss around with.

I’ve heard Super Paper Mario is very amusing.

Now you gotta make with the Wii codes so I can litter your Mii plaza with Justin Miis.

Justin, you need to bring Geometry Wars to work so we have something to entertain us in Heidi’s stead.

That’s right, Heidi. I aim to replace you with videogames.

Geometry Wars would do the trick. It’s flashy, bright, colorful, and explodes at the slightest bit of agitation.

I truly loved Galaxy. I’m glad to see you’re getting that.

Smooth, John… Just came in… THANKS! Now that Super Mario Galaxy and this have come in, my social life has surely decided to go on sabbatical.

The Greatest Quote Ever:

“The world is like a ride in an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it, you think it’s real because that’s how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it’s very brightly coloured and it’s very loud and it’s fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time and they begin to question, is this real, or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, “Hey – don’t worry, don’t be afraid, ever, because, this is just a ride…” And we… kill those people.

“We have a lot invested in this ride. Shut him up. Look at my furrows of worry. Look at my big bank account and my family. This just has to be real.” Just a ride. But we always kill those good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok. But it doesn’t matter because: It’s just a ride. And we can change it anytime we want. It’s only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings and money. A choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love, instead, see all of us as one. Here’s what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money that we spend on weapons and defences each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace. Thank you very much, you’ve been great.”
