I Ate Chicago
i realized i never posted about my trip to chicago a little while back. rachel and i more or less ate the entire city in just a few short days. we, of course, did other things, but food is what i remember most… especially a trip to the BEST HOT DOG restaurant in the world. we ate at some places where i forgot to take pictures, but there are a great deal of food photos here
although this is the only one that really matters

how come you didn’t journal & post the trip like john did in italy? maybe we should have an offshoot of the scrabbled that is just all of our postings about food and restaurants in our travels.

As soon as I see enough posts about food and travel postings to warrant a spin-off site, I’d gladly do it. I’d hate to spin off those posts, though, then have the site die and have no one check it and then have this site have a lack of food and travel.

i’ve been wanting to start a food blog for a while based on the idea of cooking three-course sunday suppers for friends and family every weekend. this was my new year resolution. i failed at it! regardless, i still plan to do it. the focus will be the weekly suppers and reactions/recipes/preparation/pictures, etc, but i want it to be a food blog as well
