Nah. Fail means that they actually tried and gave it their best shot. This was a pathetic showing. And Obama is a fucking coward. This really pisses me off. And I don’t quite get it. Going against the will of a Congress with 9% popularity doesn’t seem like much of a risk. And McCain can’t really call him out on being weak on defense since he couldn’t be bothered to vote for the damn thing himself.
He’s smart and even-tempered, but he’ll triangulate like anybody else out there.
I did. I apologize. Obama’s decision is incredibly disappointing. My only hope is that it makes enough waves in the democratic party for him to catch some real flak for it.
