I read a very disappointing review somewhere the other day. It said the show was too scripted and the jokes weren’t funny.

I want it to be funny.

I hear this show sometimes when I put on NPR during a Sunday drive back from my parents’ house. Listening to it is like being trapped in a cage with two genial, corny uncles and wanting to rip everyone’s throat out with your teeth the entire time.
