Why don’t you just stop on your way home on Saturday (or Sunday if you’re staying over)? You’ve got to pass right through Princeton to get home. Or better yet, stop on the way up and bring a cooler to pick some up for me.

i don’t know if you can get large quantities from the bent spoon. you can definitely get them from halo.
bent spoon has the most amazing looking ice cream sandwich idea (with freshly baked cookies of several varieties OR an adorable mini croissant) but i was already too full to get one, so i just got the two-scoop small. i got a fucking PUNCH CARD so after i buy ten (egad) i get a free one.
the news on their site listed flavors they made in the fall and oh my god so many delicious looking pumpkin based things. i am SO AMPED to be a four-minute walk away every day.

I just got done revisiting the Blueberry Mascarpone you bought up and left here and I like it better than I did yesterday. The Pear Cherry and (some other word I couldn’t read on the label) is still good as well. Although I wish you had been so forgetful as to have left the chocolate habanero up here since that was pretty awesome.
Although the hand written “Mmmmmm”…“WOW”….“Tasty” on the side which I didn’t notice yesterday, were annoying me when I was eating it.
Yeah, you lose. I was eating the habanero chocolate last night. It’s amazing.

This was at The Bent Spoon, Paris. It was amazingly good. A bit cinnamony and more spicy than you’d think.
more spicy = spicier. wouldn’t anything made with habanero would be spicier than you’d think?

So do you get instant relief from the spiciness with the cold ice cream part? This sounds to be quite the dynamic flavor adventure.
As John mentioned the net effect of the sweet chocolate with the spicy habanero was something akin to cinnamon. The comparable sensation was that of a red hot but with a softer cream edge to it. I was skeptical, but it ended up being the best of the 3 flavors he brought up.
