This apartment is infinitely cooler than yours.

Puzzle House!

When an architect did renovations to a NYC family’s apartment, he filled it with hidden messages, puzzles, secret compartments, and codes that are built into the actual architecture. There’s even a book and a soundtrack that go along with it.

So. Cool.

“It all began simply enough, Ms. Sherry said, when she and her husband bought the 4,200-square-foot apartment for $8.5 million in 2003.”

I want that house!

It reminds me of this discovery learning type game thing I had when I was a kid. Secretes in the Attic or something like that. A parent or some non-player would hide these cardboard wheels all over the house that contained clues to the whereabouts of other cardboard discs via riddles and such. It was super cool.

Kevin, you don’t have $8.5 million laying around?! Get it together!

Secrets in the Attic is what Flowers in the Attic should have been called.

Or Incest in the Attic.

I can’t wait for the kids in that apartment to get older and have 4 million places to hide their drugs.

About The Scrabbled

The Scrabbled is a group of people blogging about and linking to all manner of things. Usually we argue and make fun of each other. Everybody knows everybody through somebody so there are no strangers here. Most of us have even met in real life! If you happen to personally know someone here and would like to start arguing with and/or making fun of someone, shoot John an email and ask to sign up. Otherwise, you're just going to have to read in relative silence. Sorry.
