i’m sure they’ve got a lot of reasons for one way or the other. (if it’s not dark when you go to sleep, your body doesn’t produce as much melatonin! omgz noooo!)
i don’t really care about that, though. in my perfect world, i’d sleep from 5am to noon. it’s just the time that my body is most comfortable being asleep.
I’m usually asleep from 12:30 to 7. Sometimes I’m out or dose myself with caffeine and stay awake until 1:30 or 2. If I do, I usually end up paying this back by suddenly passing out on the couch at 10:30 a couple days later. Bodies are weird.
Overall, I rarely snooze longer than 8 or 9 hours on a weekend. Once my eyes snap open in the morning (usually around 9:30 or 10) it’s very difficult for me to fall back asleep.
