Actually this is the first time I’ve seen it as well. The cynical part of me thinks it was intentional to create buzz, since now that it’s out there it’s buzzed about and probably tens of thousands more people are viewing the trailer for the new movie. If so, it’s pretty canny and great marketing.

Wow! First time I’ve seen it, too. Can anyone confirm that that is, in fact, the actual 1989 trailer and not just a bunch of similar footage put together?

i’m 99.9% sure that it’s just footage put together. either way, it’s fun.

its just footage edited to follow the soundtrack for the new trailer. it is a fake, not the original 89 trailer at all.

there is another new trailer out for the dark knight, id link to it, but im lazy.
