I am, and I don’t know!
I’ve heard the online segment is much more robust than Smash Bros. There’s even a Wii channel entirely devoted to its multiplayer aspect.
I’ll probably hold off until summer. I’m knee-deep in two RPGs which, though I don’t play the genre all that often, tend to suck up all my videogame time when I do.
Which RPGs? I’ve been wanting to play a good one for a while now. I was probably going to pick up FFXII after the wedding.
I started playing Chrono Trigger again last weekend, because it’s awesome.
Mainly I’m playing Persona 3… which is like, a dungeon crawler with Japanese high school students who summon powerful monsters by suicidally shooting themselves in the heads with handguns. You power up your characters during the day by going to class, developing your social life, and dating girls. It’s one of the most bizarre things ever, but it’s insanely addictive.
FFXII is like a nice cheeseburger. Not too deep, but it tastes nice and it’s fun to spend time with. I really enjoyed it.
I’m planning on starting The World Ends With You, soon. It’s an RPG for the DS. It’s been a while. I was just reminiscing with a friend about FFVII & FFIX the other day.
I think the review at IGN said that, for the first time, they enjoyed the online component more than the single player version of the game. Apparently there’s a huge rubber band effect on the harder levels and it feels really cheap.

I never got into IX. It’s the only one I actually played that I didn’t like. None of the characters appealed to me at all.
Mario Kart doesn’t have local free-for-all battle mode. How is that possible? How didn’t Nintendo think that was okay?!?!
I never really liked battle.
Well, I hope you can do free-for-all local races at least, because there’s no co-op Gran Prix either!
