This article is full of sensationalist conjecture. It seems like a logical conclusion to make, but the official reports about his resignation are saying that he did so as a result of disagreements with Petraeus about troop withdrawal in Iraq. Do you really believe that Cheney is crazy enough to go to war with Iran right now? Really?

I would really really like to believe you’re all correct, and part of me does… but then I read stuff like this article about new sanctions on Iran and more talk of Iran’s WMDs and it freaks me the fuck out.
No time for a new war, even W can figure that out…
See, it sucks that they lost a dissenting voice… but I really doubt that such a thing would ever manage to hold this crew back. If they want to do it, they’re going to do it. And woe to all of us.
