I think that Clinton staying in the race despite not being able to catch up to Obama’s delegates has caused too much damage. She’s basically given McCain a blueprint for how to attack Obama should he be the nominee. And if she somehow convinces the super delegates to vote for her despite not having the majority of elected delegates, it’s Al Gore 2000 all over again. Only this time it’s within the party. All of the new and active people interested in politics are going to feel like it doesn’t matter what you do, someone else is going to decide who is elected. So why even vote in the national election?
Can someone verify this post on Obama’s site claiming that Obama actually managed to turn out a delegate victory in Texas:

If these are both true, the race is over and Clinton should stop trying to hand the republicans another election by going negative and quit the race.
